Hello everybody

Still hanging onto my wing man Damien, having a great match, although last night was frustrating as I did too many manoeuvres. I am thirsty to learn about my boat in these conditions (I haven’t really sailed much downwind in strong winds) and so I wanted to try different configurations - BUT - changing sails is long and you have to go slow whilst doing so. Also, with some silly issues with my sails, coupled with my fatigue, I didn’t really manage things too well!

Anyway, despite the NOISE and the VIOLENCE of the boat galloping through the waves, I did manage to get some deep sleep. Almost too deep, as it took all THREE of my collision alarms to wake me up and warn me of a close cross with a ship!! This is just a sign of how we push in this race and the fatigue level is high!
