"A return to solo racing"

Jingkun, what are your goals for this Retour à La Base?

This is my first time to do the return transat solo,I will not put the target too high,if could finish it and without any damage is my first point,it will be a perfect training trip for me.

Does the switch from double-handed to solo sailing represent an additional challenge in the race?

I will say not really,in past 10 years,or even more, I am used to do solo sailing, I don't have a lot of double-handed or crew sailing experience,so acctually in TJV to have 2 persons on board for me is a challenge.

What are the specifics of a return transatlantic race, from west to east?

For me, to sail from cold to hot,is better feeling comparing sail for sunny island to cold coast. but it is a return , back to race, so I will try to offer myself something positive.
