Saturday night fever last night on Initiatives coeur! Squalls everywhere, wind from 3 knots (that’s nothing) to 30knots (that’s too much!) from many different directions. It felt like I was playing a gigantic game of snakes and ladders through the squall. In the end I think I got a few more snakes than ladders unfortunately!
When the wind came in it was fast and very bumpy. Impossible to sleep or rest at all. We slammed so hard that the flotation block ripped itself off the cockpit roof. That’s a big block of foam that’s quite heavy - I had to slow down to sort out a solution to fix it back up.
Slightly calmer this morning enabled a few sleeps, but my sleep bank is not very rich at the moment!
Time for some fresh fruit and vitamins.
Bon dimanche à tous
